The Power of Professional Generosity (And Remaining a Student)
One of the greatest lessons this career has taught me is that the moment you think you know it all, you stop growing.
Today, I had a conversation that felt like a master class in a field completely outside my comfort zone.
I connected with an expert in an industry where I am very much a novice. He had every opportunity to pitch me a service, sell me a package, or give me a polished corporate script. Instead, he did something far more valuable: gave me his unfiltered time, honest perspective, and hard truths about the work I need to do to hit my goals.
No strings attached. Just genuine, meaningful guidance.
It was a powerful reminder of why platforms like LinkedIn matter.
Beyond the networking and the headlines, the real value here lies in our ability to connect, share across industries, and learn from people who possess entirely different skill sets. When experienced professionals pull back the curtain to lift others up, the entire culture wins.
